View Obituary CHRISTINE VACHUSKA passed away April 13, 2009 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I took Christine for her many tests before she was diagnosed with ALS. But when she was home and growing weak, she permitted me to talk to her insurance company which verified she had coverage. I requested that the necessary forms be sent to Dr. Gerace.. She died within a year.

Dr. Bruner has been my primary care physician since childhood, and now I take my own children to him. He is friendly, knowledgable, and willing to go above and beyond for his patients.

I saw Dr. Murcek four times for less than two years. He prescribed a couple of different things that did not work. The last time I saw him was less than three months ago. I emailed his office asking if he could prescribe something else, since the last prescription had not worked either. I was told he needed to see me again... Yet, every time I saw him it was for the exact same condition! His assistant kept emailing me so I wrote to let her know I was going to see another doctor. Murcek had the gall of sending me two letters ... read more

Your office was highly recommended to me by several people. I called on June 16 to schedule an appointment for my significant other. Your NOMS site indicates that you are accepting new patients. I was advised that Dr. Bruner is not accepting new patients and that my s/o could see a different doctor. My s/o was to receive a call in 3 days to review a questionnaire and an appointment would be scheduled at that time. On June 24 I called the office again to follow up on why my s/o did not receive a call. Once again his phone num... read more

The doctor seemed ok on the first visit, HOWEVER, his nurse...whom I will call "Nurse Ratchett" from the Clockwork Orange is a total turnoff. She called me after the visit and informed me that Dr. Cosby was restructuring my Warfarin dosage (making it much less and cutting it off in a few months)...I had a disastrous hysterectomy 9 years ago and had a Angio Seal placed into my deep vein because of a clot going to my heart; I was told by a vein doctor that I would have to take blood thinner for the rest of my life. Besides tha... read more

Second visit for annual exam and complained that after 5 years of menopause symptoms I am now feeling anxious along with sleeplessness and hot flashes. I asked if I should try a low dose HRT. Dr. Leake was condescending and said I was probably experiencing embarrassment and that women need to realize men have menopause symptoms too. If I wanted HRT I could have some, what dosage did I want. If I wouldn't have been wearing only a sheet I would have left. I was examined and told to go to his office where he wrote out a medium ... read more

Dr. Gerace is an excellent Family Practice physician. I have been his patient for many years and he is worth the long drive I make to see him. He is a great diagnostician. I would definitely rate him A+. His staff is kind of not up to the par in patient service, but they aren't too bad. They are average. They in no way should reflect on him as a physician. He goes out of his way to follow-up with patients if they are having a bad time dealing with their medical conditions. He is a caring person and extremely knowledgeable as... read more
