Dr. Kuo helped me figure out everything I am allergic to - and it is ALOT. He developed the individual serum for my shots and I have been going for a bit over a year. I have gotten so much better that I can be around dogs and cats again without my eyes watering and nose running. Being able to breathe and not worry about what the tree or flower I pass is going to do to me has been incredible. Once I got through the initial tests, it is so easy to schedule and get my shots.
both kuos made my symptoms worse and are ridiculously incompetent.
Dr Kuo, recommended doing all the tests regarding allergy types for me, and I understand everyone has a different insurance deductible and co-insurance, but all of his charges (prick tests and immunotherapy shots) are actually more expensive than an MRI which I took 2 months ago. Yes, every solution is customized to each person, but paying $70 a shot is a lot of investment, especially because it’s not a guaranteed procedure and they don’t know how many shots you would need to take. I go every two weeks for allergy shots. Dr was very willing to listen to my concerns about food and environmental allergies. Been coming for a while and my experience is all around positive
Poor communication. Lack of caring. Bad at answering phones as well. I got into an argument with the Dr one day because he kept talking to me as if I were a child and when I went to leave his actual front desk receptionist told me to call the allergist she goes to in town, she said she didn’t use Dr. Kuo as an allergist and understood exactly why I was upset. Front desk girl was awesome but all other areas sad. Hopefully it’s changed over the last couple years . I sure hope so
