Get directionsI'd suffered from treatment-resistant depression for 15 years. I thought I'd tried everything (maybe 20 drugs), but he had some creative ideas for new medicines. After trying 20 more, he finally hit upon a combo of two drugs that has held my depression at bay for five years now. He can be a bit gruff at times and may not be the best choice if you need an empathetic ear. But if you are interested in exploring pharmacological remedies for mental health issues, he is your man.
When I expressed grief over a lifetime of struggling with suicidal thoughts, Dr Peter roy byrne replied, "do you want to be responsible for the murder of your children's mother?“ It has been years since I saw him, and I quit shortly after that, but his irresponsible and incredibly painful apathy to MY pain has haunted me daily and quite frankly just adds to the lure of suicide. This is an irrevocable error on his part that should question why he has a license.
Dr. RB is exceedingly competent, personable and invested in his patients' well-being. He is committed to making accurate diagnosis before prescribing medications. He diagnosed my mental illness when many doctors that I had seen before him had not. I currently feel better than I have in my entire life. I recommend him highly. It may take awhile to get in to see him because he is high demand but it is worth the wait!
