I have been a patient for about 4 years now. Dr McAllister always comes up with better ways to treat my condition..and make me feel better. I am so greatful to have found a Dr like him. His staff is simply the best. Thank you all!
I suffer from acute cluster headaches, and I have been prescribed several drugs without relief. After extensive research, I found Dr. McCallister's name and was hopeful he could help. I called the office and left a message but received no return call. I spoke with my neurologist and asked if she could help. I received a voice mail message to which I responded. During a most difficult period in my life Dr McAllister and his staff have shown me kindness and consideration.. Dr McAllister is a very kind and gentle man and is very thorough and most importantly is a very good Dr. I continue to see him and get top notch care from him and his staff.
The doctor seemed empathetic and responsive until multiple interventions didn’t work. Then the staff became rude, fees changed, appointments were hard to get and the office became unresponsive. Walked out no better than I walked in after a lot of out of pocket expenses.
Dr. McAllister represents the best of his profession - he is knowledgeable, advances the neurology field through his research, and is supportive of his patients.
Dr McAllister came highly recommended by both physicians and peers. Dr McAllister presented many options for treatment of chronic pain and migraines and has a suite dedicated to clinic research in office. Dr McAllister is extremely friendly , kind, thoughtful , caring ...in fact he is the nicest most genuine physician I have ever met. He discussed several treatment options which has given me hope for the future rather than fearing a life of pain . Office has a casual home feel and staff is just amazing !
Dr. McAllister’s quality of care, compassion and excellence of knowledge likely makes him one of the top neurologists in the country. He is at the level of Oliver Sacks and I could not have asked for more insightful care for a complex diagnosis.
Hands down "the" smartest neurologist you'll find anywhere. Personable, brilliant, talented, creative and very likable. Staff are also fantastic. He spends time with his patients and "listens" carefully. All the characteristics that make for an outstanding physician and a compassionate professional.
