Had a fabulous experience with Dr Johnstone. He explained everything clearly and very honestly and gave me options. When I asked more questions he was happy to talk me thru those and I didn’t feel like I was being brushed off like I have with other Dr’s..just felt very confident in his knowledge and professionalism.
The receptionist is EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. I was respectfully and kindly inquiring something small and her response (for absolutely no reason) was just pain disgusting. As a medical receptionist myself, patients are scared and in pain. They should be treated with patience and kindness, even if they're being jerks. Pleasant experience..
Spent 5 minutes interviewing me and diagnosed me from an ultra sound and X-ray and told me I’m right to go back to work. I could understand he was in a hurry as the pretty young patient ahead of me took 40 minutes to diagnose. Further research from my father who was also a surgeon lead me to get a further opinion by two other specialists who found permanent damage of a crushed bursa. I suffered an injury to my knee as a result of a work related incident 2025. I was fortunate that (Work Cover) managed my whole recovery from initial consultation with my local Doctor, MRI scans and subsequent appointment with Dr Peter Johnson. I can not speak more highly of Dr Peter Johnson, who explained exactly what my injury was in detail, surgery required (medical procedure) and post physiotherapy required.
