I went into the ER at the suggestion of an Urgent Care doctor. Dr. Simic was the attending physician and, although I only saw him a couple of times during my time in the ER, I appreciate how attentive and thorough he was with my care and even followed up afterward! I felt like he listened to my concerns and requested the all the appropriate tests to assist in determining the cause of my cough/chest pain. As a caregiver, I just experienced something NOBODY in the ER should ever have to endure. After 6 hours of waiting with my patient - who was suffering with A Fib, this man gave us less than 5 minutes and told us to go home. My patient was not breathing properly and had strong chest pains and needed care - he ordered steroids and Ativan?!?! And told us to leave.
