I told him after my hip replacement that it felt like a big difference in my leg length & that I was falling down. He made light jokes about it & told me "that's how bad your arthritis was." "You'd have to fall out of a plane to hurt that hip." He seemed to be OK with me falling down. It took me 6 years before I finally found someone who dx'd a ONE INCH leg length diff. due to his surg.
