Dr Purcell, performs endoscopy on me regularly to monitor my Barretts esophagus condition. I must have had 8 or more, never any issues with those or colonoscopies. I credit him with saving my life because he ordered a CT of my abdomen to check on what were presumed hemangiomas in my liver, because he wanted to make sure that's all they were. Well, they were indeed that, but they incidentally found my kidney had a tumor, and thanks to Dr Purcell's thoroughness, tumor was acted upon in time.
I have seen Dr. Purcell for many years. He is the kindest, most thorough doctor I have ever seen. Many years ago he would be running very far behind schedule (sometime hours) but he was worth the wait. With the PA's helping out there is never a wait time anymore.
