Office personnel are super friendly. Doctor was great. Very friendly and made me feel comfortable.
My colonoscopy in Elizabethtown could not be complete because they hit a kink. Had a barium scan & could not complete because of the severe twisting of my colon, I was told to see a surgeon and I determined that a colorectal surgeon would be the best. I took a CD of the exam and Dr Deveaux said he could successfully perform a colonoscopy. He punctured my colon and they rushed me for emergency surgery. Was in hospital 10 days and unable to function for 3 months. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!
Dr. Deveaux is a great guy. He took the time to explain every option I had for rectal cancer. While in the hospital he visited every day and was never rushed. His medical assistant is very caring and responsive. I am so thankful for Dr. Deveaux and so glad he is on my team.
I would recommend him to anyone who needs colon/rectal surgery! Love his bedside manners and how he is will to explain everything to me as a patient! Wonderful to work with!!!
Dr. Deveaux is not only an excellent surgeon but also a caring human being. He answered all my questions and my surgery (right hemi colectomy) and recovery have gone exactly as he predicted. After researching my type of surgery, I was expecting a great amount of pain, drainage tubes, and wounds with staples and dressings. I have none of that. An incision that I expected to be at least 5 inches is less than 2 inches. My prayers were answered when I found Dr. Deveaux.
Dr. Deveaux is caring, compassionate and truly dedicated professional. His thorough approach to patient care and full attention to detail was instrumental in the discovery of renal(kidney) cancer during my pregnancy, which is not even his specialty. His immediate attention to my delicate state and situation resulted in expedited and highly coordinated plan of care. I will forever be grateful to him for possibly saving my life and giving me many more years to enjoy with my family. He's an Angel!
