Doctor Roman is one of THE BEST orthopedic surgeons I’ve ever encountered. He listens attentively, thoroughly investigates the cause of any ortho issue, and actively comes up with a treatment plan customized to each individual patient he see’s. Dr. Peter Roman is absolutely awful. After breaking my both arms, he refused to x-ray my other wrist which I told him was in pain several times. He told me it was "sympathy pains" and dismissed my complaint. After pushing for an x-ray for 3 visits, he finally did one, only to find out that my wrist WAS broken, and now I am left with pain in my wrist that will probably never heal because he refused to listen. The wrist that he did operate on, he closed up so sloppily that I'm left with a huge jagged scar. NOT RECOMMENDED.
I would like to tell you about Doctor Peter D. Roman, MD. I had broken my hip and he was the doctor at Lowell General Hospital that after x rays he immediately operated on my right hip on 3/22/2026. He did a fabulous operation on me. As of today 3/6/2026 Doctor Ramon took all the staples out. He worked miracles on me. Thank you for being so kind to me. Margaret Burns, North Tewksbury, MA
