Excellent Doctor! Very friendly staff!
First saw Dr. Bloom a few weeks ago. Was very impressed with him. Never felt rushed at all. Explained whatever I asked him about my condition. Had a procedure done last week and was very satisfied with the entire staff. I was worried but they were very caring and understanding
Able to get reasonably quick colonoscopy appmnt for new patient BUT....never returned phone calls...played phone tag for 2weeks.He s not a good listener... just another paying patient ,felt like just we were assessed & prescribed lots of medication no other options...not willing to talk about diet options or other proven non-drug lifestyles. He didn't come to hospital to talk to us until 5 days into the2 week stay....felt very dismissed and will not recommend him to anyone!
Bloom canceled my scheduled colonoscopy and dropped me as a patient when he found out I had CDIFF. He couldn't be bothered. Wait the 2 months it takes to see someone else. Go to the ER if you can't wait. Buffalo General finally diagnosed me. I would go out of network or pay cash to see another GI Dr.
I found him to be a very gentle and caring Doctor. He takes time to answer any of your concerns. His skills are excellent.
So far he has been great. My problem is that they scheduled a colonoscopy for me and cancelled without even letting me know. It has been a week and they have not called me to reschedule. I have since received my blood work back and have called now 3 times. No one can explain it to me and I have been told they will 'call me back' every time. Still nothing. I am extremely disappointed. I specifically switched to this doctor because of the great feedback I had received.
