Following a Liver Transplant in 2020 and a Kidney Transplant in 2021, I began having issues, with little warning, with small bowl obstructions in May 2026. As I understand it, the culprits were Scar Tissue Adhesion and Incisional Hernias, both of which were quickly and competently addressed laparoscopically by Dr. Peter C. Wang. Given his extremely full schedule, I was very fortunate he made himself available to repair my very serious health issues.
Dr Wang saved my life via emergency intestinal surgery in 2024 (incisional). Reversed my ostomy in 2025 (incisional). Installed a hernia mesh in 2026 (laparoscopic). 3 surgeries, 3 successes. He tells it like it is … it’s up to you to do your part (lose weight, change diet, exercise). His office staff is amazing as well. It’s a busy office so waiting is normal. But to get the best surgeon, sometimes you have to wait. Thanks for saving me, Dr Wang!
Dr. Wang is an extremely skilled surgeon who shows genuine care for his patients. He saved my mother’s life with an incredibly complex procedure and stopped in every day to check on her after surgery. He is diligent and thorough about follow-up, and even answered the phone himself when there was a complication after surgery. He is a great surgeon and I would recommend him without reservation.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wang. My husband had a horrific experience after a hernia repair from another surgeon. Everything that could go wrong did. My husband had perforated bowels and 2 enterocutaneous fistulas that was making our lives and his health a literal medical nightmare. I honestly didn’t know if he was going to make it.
