I was so hurt that Dr. Burkill left Maryland to another practice else where. Dr. Burkill was so easy to speak with. And Dr. Burkill never rushed you out for his next appointment. Dr. Burkill always had time for me and asked how I was and if I had any concerns. I wish I could find another Dr. Burkill here in Baltimore, Maryland. I pray you are doing well there. Dr. Burkill has been my family physician for nearly two years, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with his care. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, compassionate, and accommodating. He listens attentively and offers thoughtful, effective advice and treatment. I’ve seen many family physicians over the years, but Dr. Burkill truly stands out as the best. I wholeheartedly recommend his practice to anyone seeking top-quality medical care.
I can highly recommend Dr. Burkill for your family doc here in Bellingham! He has been so attentive, perceptive and helpful to us, and goes above and beyond to ensure that our son gets optimal care. I really like his ‘bedside manner’ and appreciate how direct and open his communication is. I like how he presents various options and clearly explains the ramifications and benefits to each. All in all- he’s a rare find and we are grateful to be on his roster.
Dr .Burkill is unqualified to work in the area of mental health. He may be a great doctor for other issues, but I have limited context. When I presented workplace-driven & intense anxiety in an initial visit, he said I should "relax this weekend and maybe visit a pot shop". For anxiety, he told me that I "need to care less" about the issues causing the anxiety" and told me I could be on a high dose of benzodiazepines for years.
