I am a high level athlete and work with Dr. Berzins multiple times a month to help improve my athletic performance. He is able to help me work through the issues I am having in both my training and competitions. Since working with him, my mindset is much stronger and I am able to progress as an athlete a lot faster! He is the best, definitely book an appointment with him!

As great as this doctor claims to be, as a mental health provider he seems to lack empathy, ethics and professionalism about potential patients. My child was on the waiting list for over a year, we casually mentioned him to a friend who was also looking, and surprisingly, the friend got an appointment right away. when we called to make them aware, we were offered an apology and , after many follow up phone calls, an appointment at 11 o'clock in the morning during work/school hours, with some random person. Dr. Berzins used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help me overcome my anxiety. He said this method of therapy was developed by David Burns. Dr. Berzins taught me that anxiety will not hurt me, it will just make me feel uncomfortable. He taught me how to just observe my thoughts that cause my anxiety but not to act on them and to think more positively.
