Back in 1987 I had a growth spurt of almost 2 inches in three months and I guess it pulled my spinal cord out of alignment. 1989. I am set up with Dr. ANAS for a spinal fusion. Dr. Peter Anas did my double knee replacements at the same time and also did disc surgery on my back. I could not have been more pleased. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and extremely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.
Had low back surgery, L4- L5 discetomy done by Dr Anas A few days later while at home, I had coughed while standing, felt immediate pain shooting down my right leg plus constant burning. Called Dr Anas who refused to see me, said that nothing could be wrong with my disc and to come in at my appointment in 4 weeks. I asked for another MRI, which he refused to order. I had neck surgery in 2005 for severe neck and arm pain. I had a spinal fusion and a plate put in C 5- 7. I was told that would stop my arm pain as soon as I awoke from surgery. When I woke up my arms were in excruciating pain. The Dr wouldn't see me for 5 weeks and when I told him of my arm pain being worse he told me I'd have to live with it. I'm so sorry I had my surgery with him. I still suffer to this day and am still in agonizing pain. I get 3 Epidurala a year and am on pain medication. Oh and I can no longer work.
