Many years ago, in 2000, Dr. Fan saved my life. I had been in pain for ages and no one seemed to care that much about diagnosing me. When I ended up in the ER, extremely ill and terrified, Dr. Fan came to the rescue. He diagnosed me with lupus, helped me every step of the way, was always available, and made me laugh by calling me his “problem child”. I truly thought my life was over. Update from four years ago: I continue to see Dr. Wollaston. Always courteous, he provides good monitoring and ongoing care. Effectively using an online patient portal system, he responds promptly to questions and requests I send electronically. My only wish (and given the nature of chronic conditions with no cures), would be more proactive attempts to find solutions and/or tools to provide relief (as previous doc did).
