Short version: The front desk/scheduling lady was so rude to me that I ugly cried. TLDR: After having my doctor send over a referral and transferring over my previous healthcare records, I hadn't heard from Dr. McMurtry's office in over amonth. I've seen several providers for my arthritis over the last 27 years. Dr McMurtry is patient, thorough and works with me to get treated all around with all my providers. I would go anywhere else.
My orthopedic doctor referred me to McMurtry for tenosynovitis and arthritis of my hand. 3 WEEKS afterwards her office finally calls me and says she will not see me because my labs for Rheumatoid arthritis were negative. THAT was not my problem. I would be embarrassed if I were a hospital associated with her. I cannot use the word doctor with her name. Disgusting.
Just home from my initial appointment with Dr. McMurtry. What an absolute WONDERFUL physician! She was personal, professional, thorough, and HIGHLY proficient! Her nurse was a joy - friendly and welcoming. This doctor is AMAZING! After an examination she immediately knew what my problem was, explained it thoroughly, and took extra time to take care of me.
