I had my first meeting with this doctor in November. I have to say, I was not impressed and did not like him. However, I had my surgery on the 16th and all went well. He was very thorough. If you're looking for a doctor, that'll hold your hand and whisper sweet nothings to you, he's probably not the guy. If you're looking for a guy to get the job done I have no complaints. The people in his office in Greece are great. His PA Claire is awesome.
Terrible experience!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Worst doctor i’ve ever met in my life, He should not be allowed to practice! Extremely dismissive and rude, waste of time! Looked in my mouth for less than 10 seconds, wouldn’t answer my questions and was out the door in 3 minutes. Waste of time, back at square one. Never see this man ever.
If you’re coming here for Ménière’s save time and money by going anywhere else. Dr Topf will recommend low sodium diet, then when that doesn’t work he will prescribe a diuretic, then he will refer you to someone else who actually specializes in Ménière’s. He is in the room with you for only about 30 seconds per visit. This Doctor and medical office represents everything wrong with the American medical system.
I was shocked at the lack of bedside manner, rude behavior and the “can’t be bothered attitude” of this man. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a medical professional. Quite frankly, it was disgusting. He never looked me in the eye, barely looked in my ears and then said “your ears look fine and there’s nothing I can do for you.” I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.
In and out, very fast, but, annoying they dont accept cash for payment. This practice is becoming more and more common amongst doctors.
