He was actually prepared for the appointment. He had read and had a good comprehension of my husband's medical history. He also spent a lot of time and asked really good questions that gave him a good understanding of what conditions he was dealing with. This is so rare! I am very impressed.

This review is not in reference to Dr. Schmidt, himself. I have yet to be able to get an appointment. This review is regarding his staff who set appointments. I requested an appointment online and received a voice mail telling me to call back and they left the direct number. I called back and was very hatefully told I couldn't just call and make an appointment without a referral. She implied that I was lying about getting a voice mail from them to call. I made an appointment with my pcp and she sent a referral. That was two ... read more
Dr. Schmidt is a very kind considerate doctor who is very thorough in examination, and getting x-rays, mri and nerve test and whatever testing he feels is necessary to make sure that he accurately diagnoses and prescribes the best medication and treatment plan. Appointments are not rushed and he makes sure that he has addressed all of my concerns before I leave the appointment. There is an extreme shortage of Rheumatologists in Kansas City.
