Dr. Hellstern knows his business. I arrived at 11:45 for a 12:15 appointment and I was in a room with the doctor by 12:15, excelent and unprecedented! Dr. Hellstern listened to my complaint and quickly made a diagnosis. He didn't treat the symptoms he decided what was happening and for the first time in years gave me immediate relief. I have blood work and testing to show that ALL of my problems are NOT psychological/psychosomatic. I accept that some things are made worse by my anxiety and PTSD. However the pa Lauren is not willing to look at that. I asked for them to notate in my file the refused capsule endoscopy and they did not. Wonderful physician and amazing bedside manner. I wouldn’t go to any other place.
Dr Paul A Hellstern is incompetent. This doctor is supposed to be caring for my son’s severe GI issues. But all he has done is let my son continue to bleed from his rectum, have severe weight loss, and be in severe pain. The reasoning for this care was to wait for the treatment medication, which is a specialty medication and takes weeks to get from a specialty pharmacy.
