These people are scammers, avoid them at all costs. I had hit my maximum insurance out-of-pocket payment for the year, but they still insisted on charging a copay before letting me see my doctor. I stood in their lobby for an hour, showed them a document proving my out-of-pocket max had been met, and even got an insurance rep on the phone stating that I was no longer responsible for copayments. They refused to listen to any of this, only retorting that "it's their policy" to charge a copay regardless. And then when they fina... read more
If you have medical or HMO, avoid this office! His office is incompetent and should all be fired. They make appointments without double checking if the doctor will be in. They charge $150 to send paper work to disability/EDD. Which you cannot pay by credit card. Cash/venmo/zelle only. Zelle also goes to the name of the manager. Scam. Also they say that it’s a monthly $150 charge to maintain EDD status for disability. What?? I will definitely be reporting them to the BBB.
If you are assigned this doctor for your HMO I WOULD SWITCH PROVIDERS ASAP. The way this guy runs his business is absolutely terrible. You have to actually go TO HIS office before they will let you set an appointment, you can't just call in if you're a new patient. His staff will also have you call some lab with offices which may or may not be open (It's a crapshoot) where you'll have to get random labs.
