Explained procedures very well. No issues with surgery before or after. This is my second surgery with him. No complaints.
I liked Dr Elliot. He was straight up and put me at ease. Did a great job on my difficult hernia surgery
Dr. Elliot gave worst 5 minute exam i ever had. He poked one finger at me, made a diagnosis and said follow up another provider. He did not question me about my current symptoms, what made my pain better or worse. His office staff was great, though.
Never made it they insisted on my insurance card in order to schedule so I said no thanks and good day I can only imagine how fast they need your copay ?? do they book appointments if you don’t have medical insurance?
I have had the displeasure of seeing Dr. Elliott during multiple hospital stays. I really needed surgery. Due to other health problems, he gave me the run around. Refused to go over any details with me, would walk partially in the room say very quickly, "We're not doing the surgery" and walk out quickly before I could ask any questions. There were times he was suppose to come speak to me and never showed. He released me 3 times and put my health in serious danger. Lied about time spent on bills
Dr. Elliott was a true professional and gentleman during the entire visit. He never rushed me allowing me to ask as many questions as I wanted. He was extremely thorough with his examination to make sure he gave me the best diagnosis as possible. From meeting his staff all the way through the examination it was an absolute pleasure to visit this office. During the calls after to friends who were concerned for my health I was adamant about telling them how nice Dr. Elliott was during the visit!
My experience with Dr. Elliot was highly unsatisfactory. For a Dr. of Osteopathic medicine, I was shocked that he spent so little time discussing the issue, comparing options, and describing the procedure. Well, to be specific he actually didn't even go over any details of the procedure or any alternatives/options. Do I feel comfortable to have a Dr. preform surgery on my after only seeing me for 5-10 min. and without spending time discussing or explaining any of the procedure. Not at all.
