I had a virtual visit with Dr Rizzo a few months ago that lasted less then 15 min. During this " meet and greet" consultation, i was given information that i already knew and told that i had to come back after treatment for the RX. The doctor was walking around multi tasking during the video call and was very rude to me and my step mom , we could hardly get any questions answered, we were rushed and made to feel like our concerns didnt matter. I first came to know Dr. Rizzo in September 2012, when she diagnosed my multiple myeloma. I have been doing quite well since then, and have enjoyed being treated in her practice. (The team of nurses is also stellar.) One of the things that I particularly like is that she partners with a subspecialist in multiple myeloma at the Johns Hopkins cancer center in Baltimore, so that while I can get attention close to home from Dr Rizzo I can also get strategic direction and more advanced procedures (autologous stem cell transplant)... read more
