If you are looking for a doctor who takes their time, Dr Young is the one you want to see. Not only is she patient and caring, she also listens to your needs. Her staff is also amazing!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Young’s for 20+ years. She has helped me in so many ways, She understood when my cholesterol was too high and I wanted to try and lower it with diet. Shs understood when I could not take several medications because of adverse effects. She has always taken the time to listen to my concerns and wishes, and I am so thankful for that. All of her staff members are caring and friendly.
Agree with the 2 previous reviews. Preoccupied with her computer, disinterested in answers to questions, and not warm and/or empathetic. Recently have had issues scheduling an appointment, which was one of the only advantages to her practice. After an ER visit I was told to follow up with my primary care within 1-2 days. Upon calling I was given an appointment within 24 hours. Great! Except someone then called back and said there was a schedule.change and she now cannot see me for 2 weeks?!?!
I sometimes have questions and she seems very disinterested. Very cold in her dealings with me. I do not feel comfortable even trying to discuss personal situations with her that affect my health - she just wants to get in and out as quickly as possible. Her focus is on the computer and not the patient.
Dr Young is alright but if you are looking for a warm caring empathetic doctor don't look here. She asks questions she really doesn't want to know the answers to and if you mention a problem you might be having she will keep talking as if she never heard you.
