Dr. Basanta-Henry worked with us through two pregnancies. She was attentive and kind and we had a wonderful experience.
Dr. Henry’s people skills are sorely lacking. I’ve dealt with her twice a and each time she came into the room with an attitude that clearly said she didn’t want to be there. As a woman going through a complicated pregnancy, I need more than a “you’re fine now” explanation; however, Dr. Henry does not like having to explain herself.
Very unprofessional!! She isn't concerned with your well being at all!! Awful bedside manner!
I agree with the other reviewer - I felt judged and was offended by the treatment I received. I came away with the impression that she was angry with me for: 1. being referred in the first place 2. being diagnosed with something she disagreed with 3. my not remembering an exact date of a prior test I had had months ago and 4. the fact that she couldn’t diagnose me with something additional because my test results were normal. Needless to say, her attitude was terrible.
Very inconsiderate of the reason for my referral. Degrading. Judgemental. Did not address the health of the baby. Focused on nothing in my personal pregnancy history. Horrible bedside manner. Left feeling like I wasted my time with no useful advice as to how to move forward with a safe and healthy pregnancy. Nobody deserves to be judged by a professional under any circumstances.
