I chose to see Dr. Kakkar because of his real-world background in IT, which I hoped would lead him to be a more inquiring doctor. I was thoroughly disappointed. Throughout our visit he asked only minimal questions and gave boilerplate advice, never making eye contact or showing interest in anything but his laptop screen. I will not be going back.
I wasn't satisfied with my experiences with Dr. Kakkar. When I saw him he failed to listen to my comments and sort of dismiss them. I felt like my input wasn't a concern. His staff is rude and lazy. Sadly people who been working from home during the pandemic and are now back at their office lose their interest in doing their jobs. After my first visit I was told a scan was needed and the staff would call me. I needed to call to find out when a test would be scheduled after waiting for two weeks with no response from the staf... read more
I wasn't that satisfied with my experiences with Dr. Kakkar. Every time I saw him the meetings lasted about 5-8 minutes. There was times that he rolled his eyes at me more than once and showed expressions of annoyance. As having a meetings was a bother to him. And this was the same attitude every time I saw him over seeing him for a few months now. I personally didn't enjoy my experience with him.
He is a visionary and outstanding Dr
Dr. Kakkar is an excellent doctor. He is thorough & explains processes of brain functioning in an easy to understand manner. My father had an acquired brain injury and as a result was severely disabled, but Dr. Kakkar didn't just cast him aside like he wasn't worthy of any treatment. Dr. Kakkar tried to help with medications that would stimulate his brain activity. He was very caring with how he dealt with my dad, and his staff were also warm and caring toward patients and their families.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr Kakkar. I found him to be very responsive, informative and reassuring in suggesting a clear treatment plan. He took an inordinate amount of time explaining to me and my husband what my problem might be, suggested a course of action to get the necessary tests to thoroughly evaluate and returned with a treatment plan. He communicates through email and he responds in a quick and concise timeframe. I would highly recommend him.
This is the worst doctor with horrible bedside manners. His knowledge is treating headaches and has no factual knowledge outside of this field. He’s a yes man and allows hospital administration to dictate your care. He will not fight for you when more appropriate care is needed in a hospital setting. Office exams are a joke as his neuro exams are worst then a first-year medical student. Acts like a child if you disagree with him and flips out. Stay away from this doctor.
