Dr. Santa Maria repeatedly ignored my health concerns. She congratulated me on my weight loss after I told her I’d lost quite a bit of weight due to nausea and vomiting. At one appointment, she didn’t check my reflexes and then charted that they were all normal. At another appointment, she checked my reflexes (which were non-existent) and then told me I was doing great and she’d see me back in six months. I told her many times that I was getting weaker, more numb, and fatigued. She would do one or two strength and nerve test... read more
Would waste a copay to visit Dr Santamaria, was told several time after relaying symptoms that she doesn't know, or that's not her wheelhouse. Focused in on one word from my symptoms and already had multiple med thrown at me without even listening to what i had to say in totality. Would never visit again and am very close to leaving that office in general because of my visit with Dr Santamaria.
I have been seeing Dr. Santamaria for several years. She actually listens and is good about trying alternate therapies if something isn't working out. I never feel rushed during my visits and she is just a wonderful and understanding neurologist. She is quick to respond via onechart if I have any questions or concerns between appointments. The staff has always been super friendly as well.
Well, I meet Dr Santamaria when I was diagnosed with MS back in 2007. By far she has always had my interest at heart. The knowledge and care I received from her and her staff had always been wonderful. I truly miss her now that I have moved to AZ and have found no specialist here.
Wouldn't trust my Neurological needs to amyone else. Blessed when I found her!
Dr Pamela Santamaria has been my neurologist who has been treating me for Multiple Sclerosis for over ten years . The seminars she hosts from time to time proves to me she is very up to date and knowledgeable in many areas of neurology including Multiple Sclerosis . Dr Santamaria has a compassionate and friendly bed side manner. It is always a positive experience for me after an appointment with her. She’s the best!
Find a different neurologist. I had seen Dr. SantaMaria for years and it has really changed. The last time I saw her it was like she didn’t even bother looking at my records and was unfamiliar with my medical issues. I had an appt with her today and because of the inefficiency of her front staff I went beyond on my unknown “15 minute time frame” to see her and then she refused to see me after waiting months. Then the office manager Lynn was highly unprofessional and rude. See someone else.
