I called the surgery to book an appointment and was told by the receptionist to call back at 8:15am. I politely explained that I wouldn’t be able to call at that time as I would be taking my children to school. Her response? “So is everyone else in Weoley Castle.” I found her tone dismissive and unhelpful. I completely understand that surgeries have procedures, but there's no need for such an unnecessarily sarcastic remark. Normally quite happy with their services but a recent event has made me think differently. Broke my wrist and had to get a medical form filled in by the GP for insurance as U had to cancel a holiday. The initial phone call was hopeful they seemed very on it. Also 5 weeks later it took them one 5 min phone call to half assed fill it out - after messing me about saying it would be done by the end of the week then kept changing it. Went into my surgery with a situation I needed help with and Gail was so very helpful, proffesional and I came away feeling so much better. 5 stars for Gail.
I can't give this surgery anymore stars than 5 stars, however they deserve more. At an extremely difficult time for me, I found both the supporting staff and the GP's so approachable and very caring. We attend the surgery as people needing help and attention and they have succeeded overwhelmingly for me in both areas. Thank you.
We went this morning as my husband was poorly got there at 8 there were 7 people in front of us opened promptly 8..15, my husband got an appointment at 8.40 was seen by a lovely Doctor, had prescription sent over to Castle Chemist and I was back on way to work by 9.15 am, very good service
