Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Dr Okungbowa and his staff. He loves and genuienly care about his patients. My grandmother stayed with him after Dr Emory Smith retired. He took care of her for 3 years until she got progressively worst and left her earthly home. He did everything in his power to provide the besttreatment for her. He continues to see the majority of the members in our family. He believes in the power of prayer and I love how he takes time out for his patients.
The staff is rude, and the Doctor should not be allowed to practice. I saw him for 2 years complaing of the same symptoms. They did vitamin tests, said they were fine, that was a lie. I asked repeadedly could I have MS, he told me no that can't be, without any testing. I asked for tests, he would not listen. He just told me to bend backwards and I should be fine to correct my back. I finnally found another doctor who was willing to investigate ALL my symptoms, and sure enough I had a vitamin D deficiency and I had a brain MR... read more
We were not impressed. His office is old, his furniture is worn, cracked, and faded. There is an old, stale smell to the waiting room and light bulbs are blown out in the triage room. Although the front desk receptionist was personable enough, the triage nurse was anything but. She didn't smile once, kept her back to us the whole time, and ignored most of what we said to her. Dr. Okungbowa is very knowledgable and polite. Even though I'm a nurse, my father is 77 years old and he explains everything to him in layman terms. He is listens to what his patients have to say, and I believe that's very important.
