Dr. Igbokwe is an excellent family medicine physician. She is extremely thorough and clearly up to date on current guidelines and recommendations. She explains what tests are looking for, why they’re being ordered, and what the next steps will be based on the results. I especially appreciate that she provides a clear, "to-do" list after visits, which makes it easy to follow through on care plans. Dr. Igbokwe has been my primary physician for a number of years, and the level of care is consistently excellent. She's always extremely thorough, proactive about preventative health, and always follows up promptly with test results. If you’re looking for a doctor who is both highly knowledgeable and attentive to detail, this is the go to doctor!
This doctor gave me clear instructions, written in a yellow sticky note to get labs done the same day as my appt. When I went to get labs they weren’t ordered. They were supposed to fix them, but when I went back 3 days later same problem except this time the doctor wasn’t in office. When I tried explaining this to the nurse, Linda Puerner-Fischer, she continuously interrupted me and kept saying she didn’t understand.
