My wife has had two Movement Disorders for 46 years, and a third debilitating Neurological Disease diagnosed 8 years ago at Cedars Sinai. She is now 75 years old, is completely bedridden, and is suffering from end stage Combination Dementia. 2 years ago she was hospitalized for a broken hip, and Dr. Omidvar was assigned as her Neurologist. I’ve been seeing Dr Omidvar for many years. On my first visit he wanted a sleep study done because the seizure only occurred while sleeping. Following the study he recommended I use a CPAP machine and since using it I haven’t had a seizure. I’d give him a rating of 10 if possible. The office staff is just the opposite. I would love to consult with this doctor as he is highly recommended. I have called his office five times and requested a call back but have heard nothing.
I love this doctor. I’m very happy with his care. My downfall for him is his office staff. The phones are NEVER answered by a real person. 100% of my messages are NOT returned. God help you if you have an urgent issue. Sad, that a man so talented can’t fix a simple issue like the responsiveness of his office staff. I would not recommend him because of that.
Great doctor, I have been to 2 other neurologists and he not only figured out my condition but also sent me to the right surgeon immediately. Getting to a live person in the office is very hard! The staff looks busy. The group is in high demand, they should either hire more Docs and staff or figure out something!
Dr. Omidvar is one of the best doctors I've ever met. A truly educated man who not only takes the time to discuss your case, but also has the compassion and genuine kindness that is lacking in today's healthcare. His staff is excellent. The office is immaculate. And he is a truly caring person; one fo the best.
