I had an appointment with Dr Newcomb. Dr Newcomb had been great in the past. But I saw an assistant instead. I twice mentioned to the assistant my concerns by another Dr was why I was there. I was told I was ok. To come back in 6 mths. My other Dr said that can't be right. Sent me to a different specialist. Cave Run had over looked a serious health problem. I will not be back. They are not for me.
He did a wonderful job on my kidney stones and everything great doctor
I was miserable from a kidney stone. It had been verified by tests from a previous specialist. That Dr said that it was 8mm in size. To wait for it to pass. After enduring the pain for some time I went to Dr Newcomb. He estimated the size was not 8mm, but 11mm and said that it needed a procedure. That it wouldn't pad on it's own as I had been previously told and had found out. Dr Newcomb is now my Urologist.
My daughter saw this doctor for an issue that was making her pretty miserable. Without even touching her he was “97% sure if what was wrong with her”. He said it would run its course, but gave her medicine for the symptoms. The medicine did nothing and we went back for our follow up where we were told “he didn’t come in today, we can reschedule you after his vacation”.
