I first met Dr. Petryna at NYU Langone. I had not been feeling well for a couple of years and went from doctor to doctor - many of them - with no answers and not much support or followup. Dr. Petryna assured me that we would get to the bottom of what was causing me to feel unwell. Well, she did! She was able to diagnose me and provided me with effective treatment. I waited six plus months for an appointment. On appt date, I ran 8 minutes late due to torrential rain and flooded roads. Check in line backlogged 5 people. Very crowded office. Admin immediately tells me that Dr will no longer be in the practice, do I still want to see her? Yes Then I sat in lobby 20 minutes, another frantic admin comes to me and says we have a big problem, because I was 15 min late Dr refused to see me. Was my first appointment in the office. Dr Petryna made me feel immediately comfortable and took the time to listened to my concerns. She’s very caring, smart and professional. The staff is nice and professional. I highly recommend Dr Petryna.

I work in healthcare for almost 20 years, and trust me I am able to recognize a knowledgeable, highly skilled and carrying doctor. If God forbid you have or you may have a rheumatologic disorder then Dr. Petryna is who you need
