What a horribly disconnected doctor. He is extremely unsympathetic to my mothers needs. Besides giving news of doom and gloom this doctor offered zero solutions and suggested my mother obtain a second opinion only to became upset when second opinion was obtained. He said my mother would die in August if she refused dialysis. Of course, my mother is alive. It is October. We know Nephrologist are compensated handsomely for every patient placed on dialysis. He took care of me when in hospital an my sodium level got dangerous and showed me I was drinking too much water, diluting it. I've kept in contact and would not want to be without his help.
Dr. Afolabi has been my nephrologist for several years now and I trust him with my life. He's an amazing doctor and I would never go to anyone else. He truly cares and takes the time to make sure that all my questions are answered no matter how busy he is. He has not only helped me, but he has gone out of his way to help other members of my family! Everyone at Fort Worth Renal group is great and I always feel so welcomed there!
Dr Afolabi- you are a Godsend! You are AMAZING and one of a kind in the way you truly CARE about people. You took time to come and see me when I was admitted into hospital and make sure I was all right. You have saved the quality of life for my mom and brought her levels back to normal.
