I recently went I see Dr Yasin for a checkup, and cause I was struggling mental health issues due to being a victim of domestic violence. First she told me to stop crying cause her father just died which I thought was very narcissistic of her being that this appointment is supposed to be about me. If you’re not ready for work then don’t come. She proceeded to ask me why I didn’t leave the domestic violence situation and urged me to stop crying. Dr. Yasin saw my nineteen year old daughter who has lost 30 pounds and fears she has an eating disorder. When my daughter shared this information with Dr. Yasin, she told my daughter "you look like a runner," and "being thin is a good thing," and "being big is not good." Completely irresponsible and quite harmful to say to a young woman with body image issues.
Dr Nura Yasin is a wonderful doctor.
