I had doctor mcalester in the er recently and he is very kind and listens to all of my questions I have svt and he immediately gave me adinasine to slow down my heart rate and then gave me a liquid heart medication to keep my heat rate normal now the there was one nurse who tried to say a ice dunk worked with Karen sired treated me I cut her off right there and told her no it didn't work because they tried everything and they ended up given me the same medication then as they did this time around doctor mcalester listened me... read more
Thank goodness Mcalester is being replaced with OU Emergency Physicians!!! He is a class A hack. Hot headed with limited knowledge. He misread cardiac test causing the patiet to be sent to OKC. Doctors there said he inverted the numeric of the test. Think of the $millions he has made harming innocent people. Why did it take MRHC so long to change. Would not recommend him. At all. Every time I've been seen by him in the ER, he disregarded everything I said and gaslit me into thinking covid was the reason I was sick. He did not try to help treat my illness any of the times I've been his patient. And I've seen him several times in the er. Each time he came in my room he was there less than 5 minutes like he was rushing to get me out. He did not care at all about me as a patient and I know so many other people that have felt this way.
Dr. Mcalester is the best doctor this town has. Hands down. I truly can't say enough great things about this man. I wish with all my heart that he was available as a primary care doctor. He is trusted by so many in this town and for good reason. If you are lucky enough to get this doctor in the emergency dept. You can walk out of there knowing what is going on and how to care for yourself he explains things which to me is extremely important to me. Great guy here
