I'm surprised to see the negative reviews. Dr. Thie has treated me for TMJ pain for close to 10 years, and I couldn't be happier with his treatment. He's been a huge source of knowledge about TMJ, and the splint has alleviated soooooo much jaw pain. I had a very bad experience with a TMJ dentist, but Dr. Thie has helped me more than I can express in words. I hope he never retires.
SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Never write reviews but felt the need to warn potential patients of this clinic. After a BREIF assessment (1-2 minutes and no imaging) Dr. Thie informed me that my ongoing TMJ injury was not a result of my rollover car accident but simply caused by my HORMONES. I questioned him if, I had been a man would he still assume hormones were the cause of my issues, to which he responded "no I would not consider hormones a cause". I had seen dr Thie as a teen for TMJ so when I was in pain again I went back to see him, paid my fees and was waiting for insurance approval. Called the clinic to see what the status of it all was. They informed me he left and they don’t have information on if or where he will be seeing patients still 3.5 weeks later. So now I’m out the fees which come off the cost of the splint around $300 which I need to pay to another dr. The headache is not worth it, if he ever sees patients again RUN STAY FAR AWAY.
Being going there for 5 years..TMJ could got worse and worse. He charges way too much for treatment and consultation...
