I have a diagnosis of anaplastic astrocytoma, Dr. Litofsky operated on me twice and prepared me thoroughly before surgery and when test results were received. He answered not only my questions but those of my husband and teen age son. I highly respect him and he has been responsive with any subsequent questions or concerns.
Dr. Litofsky is an amazing neurosurgeon. He was phenominal when he removed a tumor from the center of my childs brain. He was always accessable to answer my questions and was wonderful at trying to make my young child understand what was going to happen. He also made sure that I had all the answers 2 my questions before ever leaving the room & when he did leave I had a card with a number I could call at any time with questions. It would be nice to know of the Dr.'s who continue with educating themselves on diseases that are out there in the real world. Don't dismiss patients who come in with pain, as if they are liars.
