Excellent and caring surgeon with great staff. From the first call to aftercare I received first rate care.
Where to start with this review? I could cut to the chase and just say, "He's the best", but that would leave too much to the imagination. Without trying to exhaust every superlative in the dictionary, suffice it to say, he knows his stuff and his surgical skill set is second to none. Dr Russo recently replaced my knee and two for my spouse and we would not hesitated to recommend him to anyone. Professional with no ego, and truly takes an interest in your results. A perfectionist and thats what you want. PT pros in our area know him and respect his work. I personally waked unasited 2 hours after surgery.
Dr. Russo is amazing! Being a master sculpture and his background with children made me feel like I was in great hands. He is a great communicator and his staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I had a total knee replacement and I have zero pain.
Up until the day Dr. Russo performed my knee replacement, I was hiking regularly; now, 11 months later, I have almost recovered from the aftermath. I had my knee replacement surgery in December, 2019, after meeting with Dr. Russo to discuss the surgery and my medical history. At that time I told him I had stents in the leg he would be operating on. Dr. Russo replaced both of my knees within 6 months of each other. He is kind, caring and very professional. He took the time to explain my X-rays and all that is involved with a knee replacement. I felt very well prepared for surgery. Follow up care was excellent also. I highly recommend Dr. Russo.
I found Dr. Russo to be a kind, caring and professional surgeon. I believe that he cares about his patients and takes a great deal of pride in his work. At our first meeting, he spent time listening to me, evaluating my x-rays and answering any questions that I had. I have been Dr Russo's patient for over ten years. He has replaced both of my hips and knees, most recently my right knee on December 31, 2019. I think he is an extraordinary surgeon. He is kind, thorough, and remarkably skilled in his profession. As long as you follow his instructions, (go to physical therapy, wear compression stockings, etc,) recovery should be relatively easy and successful.
