I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Shaftel and his office staff. I saw someone else before him and while he might have been just as knowledgeable, his bedside manner was not so great. He gave me a cortisol shot and it was very painful. He was somewhat impatient with ny hesitation with making a first tine decision about my condition. He is an excellent Hand Surgeon. With multiple x-rays taken of my body to see if anything else might be causing problems, he found a large growth on my Spine. I was an Occupational Therapist for 30+ years so I could seen it very clearly!!! His Father did my Left Total Shoulder Replacement. Unfortunately, shortly after all this, I had a MASSIVE STROKE!!!
