Avoid Dr. Nishi Thakur, I don’t know who's worse, her or her RUDE staff Sarah office manager lacks managerial skills, customer service, work ethics and mostly CORE VALUES. Look if you can’t be compassionate with your patients perhaps you BOTH should seek a different profession. My mother is 87…87 years old and is hearing impaired. This was the worst doctor I have ever had in my life first when I met her. I thought she was rude and had bad bedside manner. I’ve been too many doctors since my family is in the military, and this is by far my worst experience ever she never listens to what I say always wants to do with her way talks over me. She told me to lose weight, even though I am not fat at all so then I lost a little bit of weight. Then I returned to the office and she asked me why I had lost weight and if I was sick. Not the best experience…. It was nearly the worst. So, if you decide to come here definitely don’t miss appointments it’s hard to deal with the front office staff. If you cancel you will pretty much be treated as the bottom of the list patient even though your health concerns are valid. I have an HMO so changing providers made it difficult due to the staff not wanting to see me until the computer shows the doctor change. Excellent doctor! One of the best physicians I have dealt with! From day one after heart surgery in Houston, she found the cure of a choking cough that was being caused by a high blood pressure medication allergy. Earlier this year, she insisted that I visit a specialist due to a high white cell count that was caused by Agent Orange from my service in the Army in Vietnam. She has a great approach to treating her patients and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a Dr. that is a BOARD-CERTIFIED INTERNIST.
