It's now been 12months since I ruptured a tendon in my hand playing sport. Initially misdiagnosed and delayed with my surgery, Dr Casey to the rescue and booked me in the next day. We met in theatre. He was kind and managed my expectations very well throughout the process. My journey was long and difficult and required a secondary surgery but Dr Casey perceived and I am pleased to report I have regained around 90% of function back. I cannot thank Dr Casey enough, he is a talented surgeon and really cares about his patients.
Saw Dr Nikki Casey to treat my 3 year old son's thumb which ultimately required surgery. At all times was Dr Casey professional and great to work with, was happy to answer all our questions and provides clear guidance on possible courses of action. His secretary is to be commended too for her friendliness and professionalism. Great communication, 10/10 would highly recommend this practice to any who need to see an Orthopaedic.
I had to have a complete shoulder replacement for which I was suffering limited use and a lot of pain particularly at night time. I was strongly recommended Dr Nikki by someone knowledgeable in the industry and I was not disappointed. Yes there is a period of OMG what have I done but after a few months the pain eases and I regained use of my shoulder. Very professional and has great communication skills which is unusual in this area. Thank you Dr Nikki.
In March 2021, I bent my thumb back. I had , xrays, mri, needles, hand therapy, then it was time to see a specialist. Dr. Casey has done a wonderful job on my wrist as I tore a tendant. It's now been 6 weeks and still in a splint, but that is because I can't be trusted, healing very well. Happy, how everything has healed, with a minimal scar and looking good.
