I've had 13 cardiac arrests, 11 in one day. On my 11-event day, Doc Abariotis was my caregiver. Years later I'm still ticking, I walk between 1 and 4 marathons every week, have low heart and respiration rates, and good labs. Doc is a combination of state-of-the-art (with many certifications in various aspects of medicine) and old school (he listens to my heart doing it's work). He is a God-send.

First time going to him was a pleasure, he is very thorough. Very honest, very caring. Very sweet Doctor I was told by another Doctor that I had congested heart failure and Doctor Abariotis confirm that I do not. He is a blessing and a rare find of a doctor that really cares about his patients and I really appreciate him. I used to work in a unit and when I say this Dr. Never missed a 5am round he was always there with patients! Love him.

Dr. Abariotis was my cardiologist when I lived in Chicago nine years ago. I loved and trusted him completely. I haven’t been able to find a doctor like him since I moved out of state until this year. Now she is going back to Chicago. He was tough on me but compassionate. He’s a no nonsense kind of doctor and I respected his advice and his devotion to his patients.
