Nick Hartnell did my Bilateral knee replacement almost 12 months ago. My left knee is a train wreck. I started to complain about it the day after surgery only to be told ‘you’ll be right, early days’. During the next 3 months I was constantly gas lit and just given the obligatory scans. Had a right TKR, 6 weeks post surgery yesterday, this specialist is a legend in pain for 10 years was told I was too young Dr Hartnell, did all he could prior to offering surgery, and it was last resort, he explained pro and con ..l was upfront and honest, … now have the general pain from post op… all my issues and pains I complained off have gone will never trust another knee surgeon .. Dr Hartnell is a legend.
Returned to have a double hip replacement after undergoing a double TKR in 2021. Super happy with hips and knees. About 3 months prior to hip surgery my left leg had become 5 to 8 cms longer than my right leg. Post surgery both legs are exactly same size. Highly recommend Dr Hartnell he is a very talented surgeon and has a lovely bed side manner
I have had two shoulder reconstructions both done by Dr Hartnell. He goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.
