I was in such debilitating pain, that I could hardly walk into Dr. Mataragas's office. Walking, standing or any movement not only was nearly impossible due to weakness, it was excruciating and sent pain to other parts of my body. This WAS a recurring issue. After the first consult with Dr Mataragas, I knew I wanted to have the surgery. He wanted to make sure all my questions were answered and that I had time to consult with my family. After the third consult I set the date for my surgery. He’s very professional and knowledgeable. His bed side manners is impeccable. This place is an absolute joke! They take your co-pay (and after calling bill your insurance) for your visit yet can’t call in the prescription you were given for the unbearable pain you’re in. Then you call the next day to get the I’m sorry a 100 times song and dance to be told they would fix it IMMEDIATELY and get the prescription called only to find out it DIDN’T. Then when you try to call an hour before they close to get the problem fixed so you don’t suffer in pain yet again they refuse to answer for an hour. No this is... read more
