I had laparoscopic surgery with Dr. K in May of this year for unexplained infertility and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and overall quality of life. Just five months after surgery, I conceived naturally on our second active attempt, a result that truly speaks for itself. Dr. K is an exceptional endometriosis specialist. He is highly skilled, humble, and has an outstanding bedside manner. His post-operative pain management was excellent, and I felt genuinely supported throughout the entire process. ... read more

I am very thankful to Dr. Kongoasa. This review is way overdue but I had my surgery for endometriosis back in August of 2023. That’s over 2 years ago. My life has changed so much for the better. I am no longer in near constant pain. I’m not living day by day anymore. I’m not a nervous wreck. That life is behind me. And I just feel so blessed to have found Dr. Kongoasa and been given a second chance at life. I also feel immense sadness for any woman suffering like I did. I know the thought of surgery is terrifying but if you’... read more

Together they performed a hysterectomy (saving my ovaries, yay!), appendectomy, partial bowel resection, cystoscopy, and endometriosis excision surgery. This is the first time in many years that I haven’t experienced endo pain. Dr. K and his staff ... read more

I always tell people Dr. Kongoasa is my angel. He listened to my concerns after years of being dismissed by medical providers and treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. He gave me my life back in May 2024 and I am forever grateful for his skill, care and kindness.

Dr. Kongoasa performed my endometriosis excision surgery in the fall of 2019. Since then I have gotten pregnant three times and now understand what a "normal" menstruation feels like rather than the awful pain I had assumed was just part of life. Dr. K is incredibly kind and I'm so thankful to have found him. It was absolutely worth flying to Atlanta to have him as my surgeon.
