I was recently diagnosed with Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy and was encouraged to have surgery. Within 1 week my surgery was scheduled with Dr Smedira. He told me what needs done and that this will make me better. He was so right. I haven’t felt good in years and now I’m on the right track. He was very professional and caring. My question were answered and he took the time to explain everything.
Dr. Nicholas Smedira has done more for Foreign Relations than any US president in history. Twenty years ago Dr. Nicholas Smedira was my heart surgeon. I was born with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) that progressed to severely Obstructive. I had a septal myectomy at the Cleveland Clinic. It's been nearly 10 years since this man saved my life. I would have never have had the quality of life that I have today if weren't for Dr. Smedira. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you once again. I had a septal myectomy for HCM at the age of 28, 333lbs, unemployed and disabled. It took me a while to mitigate all of my circumstances but I'm now about to be 38, I'm around 175lbs, and I hold a fulltime job- a physically demanding one at that. Thank you Dr. Smedira.
Dr Smedaria is great. He replaced my aortic valve 18 years ago and a new one a year ago. He saved me .
