I had a great experience with Dr. Yunov himself. He was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable during my visit. However, the office organization needs serious improvement. I’ve been dealing with a billing issue for over a year now because the visit was coded incorrectly, and I’ve had to follow up multiple times to try to resolve it. BEWARE. I used to be on a better insurance under my parents, and now that I’m on Aetna, I’ve had to face deceptive billing charges. After my in-office annual check up, which itself was great, Dr. Yunov gave me a follow-up call with me on a Sunday. Come to find out, the total charge for this 5-minute phone call was $300 ($200 for the “visit” and $100 for after hours service request)! After my plan’s discount, I was expected to pay $118.88. I liked Dr. Cohen and appreciated that she did not dismiss my long-term symptoms as other folks have done. Having said that, I called the front desk yesterday and the staff member started yelling at me saying I had already called before, etc., which I didn't recall, but even if I had, that is no way to conduct yourself as a professional and/or when talking with a client/patient.
