I have had pilonidal disease for over 16 years, since I was 17 years old. This doctor told me he wouldn't do anything for it and then I had to go to the ER in Welland to get it cut open because he refused to. This guy is a fraud and should be investigated for making up lies. I will likely go through with MAID once I lose the use of my legs since my abscess is growing up my spine. I've had 3 minor procedures and a gall bladder by Dr Howatt or him assisting, very good doctor, I would highly recommend him.
This experience was far better than I would have ever thought. The doctor was on time, no long wait. He was precise and to the point, all well being polite, fun and professional. Glad I did not require surgery, but if I did this is exactly who I would have do it.
Excellent surgeon.
