The most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. They will keep you on hold for hours at a time or they wont pick up the phone at all.

I am basically a new patient here. I have been going for a couple months. Dr Furman is great. He is caring and listens to your concerns and needs and his nurse is also wonderful HOWEVER, his office staff is the worst there is. Getting in touch with someone on the phone is next to impossible. They answer the phone and leave you on hold for 20 minutes. Not only this, but I needed important results faxed over to another doctor and getting someone to fax these has been an impossible mission. I've been going to Dr. Furman for over a year now. He and I have a good relationship. He has good rapport with the patients. His office staff is horrible. It is a nightmare to get through on the phone and to get a prescription refilled is almost impossible. The exceptions to the staff are Clara, who is wonderful and the nurse, I forgot her name, she is great too. The others who answer the phone and sit at reception need a course in customer service. They just are not suited for a medical office environment.

I needed to switch doctors. My previous one moved. I was a little apprehensive at first because of the outdated office building and its location. However I was pleasantly surprised with the care and time the doctor gave me. Usually doctors offices are a machine and you get no more than a minute with the doctor. Dr Furman answered all my questions and spent a few minutes explaining the different procedures and weighing all my options. I look forward to being a patient by him
